Duplex stainless steel.
22% chromium duplex steel (austenitic/ferrite) (2205), with a moderate to high strength and good corrosion resistance to common/stress, corrosion cracking ability.

This alloy has the tolerance ability to resist chloride and sulfide stress corrosion environment, the intensity is about twice the standard strength of austenitic stainless steel.
Demand a higher mechanical strength /

Lighter weight, the alloy could be successfully used as a substitute 300 series austenitic stainless steel.
F51 many standard welding arc welding equipment is easy to use,

B but not recommended for oxygen welding, because there may be carbonization phenomenon in weld metal.
