A2 heat treatment hardness higher than SKD11, high temperature (500-520 °C) after tempering up to 60-62HRC high hardness, strength in excess of SKD11.

Technical Equipment

A2 is an improved cold working die steel based on SKD11 (Cr12Mo1V1). Under normal heat treatment conditions, residual austenite is almost completely decomposed, and generally cryogenic treatment can be omitted, and high toughness can still be maintained under strong hardness.
